Important Details:

Passport: Your passport is valid from the date it is issued until the date it expires.
You can use it throughout this period, subject to meeting the visa and immigration requirements of the countries you wish to visit or transit through.
Some countries do require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months from the end of your planned stay.
You may be refused entry if you do not comply.

E-VISA:
A VISA is required for entry into Vietnam, for information and to apply for an E-VISA, please visit https://vietnam.visaonline.travel/

Conference License:
As per Vietnam legal requirements for international events, AFDA is required to apply for a conference license.
This is being coordinated by Destination Asia (Vietnam).
All delegates and partners/family registering to attend the AFDA Convention must provide a colour scanned PDF copy of their passport to AFDA when registering.
AFDA will supply this to Mr Phan Hong Son, MICE Account Manager at Destination Asia.
All passport documents need to be emailed to Events Coordinator Deanne Brown via deanne.brown@afda.org.au and must be received by 13 January 2025 so the license can be applied for, approved and issued.
It is recommended that you supply your scanned colour copy of your passport when registering for the convention.
